The Lady Behind Ally Mae

I have always had a flair and appreciation for beautiful, timeless clothing. During my time working in London, I fell in love with street fashion. I had the privilege to work for Harrods and French Connection (FCUK), where my love for different styles, quality and trends of fashion deepened. It was here where I started to envision my own online shop. I believe that timing is everything and that dreams come true (if you have enough courage to follow them.) My dream became a reality when I founded Ally Mae Boutique in August 2018. We have two children- a boy and girl. I have always pictured myself as a true boy mom and I am thrilled that my eldest, Stuart, is a boy (love him to bits). His life of snakes and spiders take us on exciting adventures.

However, I am surprised by how much I adore being a girl mom too. My sweetest girl, named Ally Mae by the way, is enchanted with dressing up and has a beautiful, natural sense of poise. The purity of this enchantment reminded me of my love and passion for pretty things, girlie things and the sheer delight of dressing up (which I forgot whilst just being too busy and being a mom).

So here I am, passionately falling in love again with colorful dresses, hot trends and feminine cuts. This is an immensely fulfilling experience, where I am rediscovering my best self and the joys of following my passions of fashion, health and fitness along the way. (and I hope you do too).
